Acousondes are build-to-order. In some cases a unit matching customer needs may be in stock, but if not, delivery time may be up to 18 weeks after receipt of order.

Acousonde™ 3A (Model B003A)

• Depth sensor, 500 m (-500m suffix), 2000 m (-2km), or 3000 m (-3km)
• Cylindrical encapsulation
• (2) 32 GB storage cards (8 GB expected per-deployment record life)
• Full-speed USB data offloading, approximately 480 kilobytes/s

DG3B Deployment grip

• Custom-molded device to grip Acousonde 3B for deployment
• Includes a few inches of smooth 1/2" PVC rod on hinge embedded in grip
• Does not include deployment pole or any assembly hardware
• Not for use with Acousonde 3A

SC3B Package of 4 Acousonde 3B suction cups

• Custom-molded silicone suction cups for use with Acousonde 3B
• Includes cable ties to secure suction cups to tag
• Not for use with Acousonde 3A

Option B003-US US Government discount

• Discount on each B003A or B003B unit procured
• Applies to all procurement directly supported by US Government

Option B003-XS32 Bring total storage to 32 GB

All units now ship with at least one 32-GB storage card. This option is obsolete.

Option B003-XS128 Bring total storage to 128 GB (B003A units only)

• Loads all four B003A slots with 32 GB cards
• Brings total storage up to 128 GB
• NOTE the Acousonde is unlikely ever to fill more than 16 GB on one battery
• NOTE there is no guarantee future software will improve battery longevity
• NOTE USB offload speed is about 1.6 GB per hour; offloading 128 GB will take nearly four days

Option B003-HF High-frequency hydrophone

• Build-to-order option for Models B003A and B003B
• Adds internal high-frequency hydrophone, 125 kHz ceramic
• Low-power hydrophone remains in place; user chooses hydrophone at deployment time
• Hydrophone saturation nominal 172 dB re 1 µPa 0-pk (0-dB gain)
• Switchable acoustic gain of 0 or 20 dB
• Default 3-dB passband nominal 10 kHz to 42 kHz
• Fixed 6-pole linear-phase anti-alias filter rolls off to -22 dB at 100 kHz
• Anti-alias filter can be bypassed
• Software decimation available with future firmware update

Option B003-UH Install customer's high-frequency hydrophone

• Build-to-order option for Models B003A and B003B
• Alternative to B003-HF
• Customer provides miniature hydrophone for custom installation
• Hydrophone must be ≤0.625" and ≤0.780" (smaller and larger dimensions)
• Includes high-frequency preamplifier as used in Option B003-HF
• Customer supplies all calibration information

Option B003-CH Customized low-power hydrophone gain & high-pass filtering

• Build-to-order option for all Acousonde models
• Customer specifies low-power channel gain & high-pass filtering
• Request this only if you can't use default gain & high-pass filter characteristics

Option B003-CF Customized high-frequency hydrophone gain & high-pass filtering

• Build-to-order option, can only be ordered in conjunction with Option B003-HF
• Customer specifies high-frequency channel gain & high-pass filtering
• Request this only if you can't use default gain & high-pass filter characteristics

Option B003-AA Customized 6-pole anti-alias filter for high-frequency channel

• Build-to-order option, can only be ordered in conjunction with Option B003-HF
• Customer specifies resistor and capacitor values for 6-pole anti-alias filter
• Request this only if you can't use default high-frequency anti-aliasing
